Push Play and listen while you read….I like this song.
This conversation took place at my house last weekend upon sitting down at the fire outside. I have many conversations to blog about which are better than this one, but I owe it to LOST, to post this now before the grand finale.
I am unsure of who exactly said which parts, so I am just labeling everyone as “Person #”. SPOILER ALERT! Not that it will make any sense towards a NON-LOST viewer….
Person 1
“I wonder how the Man in Black was able to kill his mother?”
Person 2
“Maybe it was because he stabbed her, before she had a chance to speak to him……”
Person 1
“Yeah I guess that’s possibly right, since Dogen said the same thing to Sayid, regarding him stabbing someone who he will see that he knows from his past, AND he knows is dead, before he has a chance to speak to him, or else it will be too late.”
Person 3
“Yeah but, the Man in Black’s mother was speaking to him his whole life, so I am not sure if that theory is right.”
Person 2
“Well then, maybe the Man in Black was able to kill his mother, because the dagger was magnetized, upon him throwing it at the well”
Person 4
(Who has never watched an episode of LOST)
“You guys have no idea how ridiculous this conversation sounds……”
So these LOST videos are pretty time consuming to make. I hope you get enjoyment out of it otherwise I am wasting a severe amount of my own time, and I hope you know how to read since it is very text involved. If you do not know how to read, well then, I guess you are not reading what I am typing right here, so I am wasting even more of my time, by addressing illiterate folk.
The title of this video is:
8 MINUTES AND 15 SECONDS BEFORE THE FIRST EPISODE OF LOST….
check out her site, she has some good LOST drawings……
(I used her artwork of Jacob and the Man in Black for my video…….without asking her of course, and if she has a problem with that, she just needs to tell me so……but that would REALLY suck if she wanted me to take it down, because I put way too much time into this video…..maybe I should have just asked her in advance……I know for a fact that I am way smarter in hindsight…….. WAY cooler in hindsight too, I always come up with the perfect thing to say……in hindsight.)
I hope you enjoy……
lost battle: “8 MINUTES AND 15 SECONDS BEFORE THE FIRST EPISODE OF LOST….”
I am going to create an animation board game that describes exactly what the point of “LOST” is. I have it all planned out beautifully……..I just do not know how to do anything regarding animation. This project might have to be on hold indefinitely.
Jacob goes out into the world and finds human beings that have very admirable traits. These traits in which he is searching for may include: Leadership, Loyalty, Bravery, Strength, Faith, or Forgiveness (and probably a shit load more). When he finds people who show these traits strongly in life, Jacob pays them a visit and touches them. When he touches them, he is not thinking about their well being. Instead, he is choosing these people to represent human beings, with their main purpose, is to be persuaded by evil or the “Man in Black”. It is ultimately up to these individuals to be persuaded by evil to do something evil, and in return, you will get what you desire most.
Jacob picked these candidates to get brought to the island, and individually hand picked each of them because of their individual strengths in human character that these candidates exhibit. Jacob knows that by touching these individuals, they will each be put into an extreme situation, of being persuaded by evil, with their wildest dreams being promised to them if they give in to temptation. Jacob believes that at least some candidates that he brought to the island, will in the end, not be manipulated by this evil, and they would rather stand for the greater good of humanity by preventing the evil from ever leaving the island.
Lost is a board game. Jacob finds all the “pieces” that the “Man in Black” can use, in anyway that he is capable of manipulating or persuading. It is the “Man in Black’s” time right now in the show, that he has been working at and manipulating, for a very long time.
He has manipulated countless people and candidates, in countless ways, in order to be where he is right now with these people and candidates. He only has so many pieces left to use in this board game. These also happen to be the people that Jacob touched, and manipulated to be right where they are, right now on the island. Jacob knows that these people will not ever let the evil leave the island.
I want to make an animation board game that describes exactly what I explained above, but showed it in a comedic way. I have it all planned out beautifully……..I just do not know how to do anything regarding animation. This project might have to be on hold indefinitely…….
I think Desmod is special because he turned the fail safe key that released the electromagnetic energy, and was at the epicenter of the release of energy. The next time we see him after turning the key, he is fully naked as if he was reborn. But just because you are special does not mean that you deserve to go through the pain of whatever a huge fucking copper coil is capable of producing on a human. Very distasteful way to treat one of my favorite characters. It has been far too long brotha…….see you next week.
ALSO…..THIS EXACT SCENE WAS NEVER IN THE EPISODE…….watch it again if you think I don’t know what I am talking about. He broke out of the chair before it got light in the box.
So I put this video together about two weeks ago, but it has since become slightly obsolete. First Richard came out of the fucking woods, when I assumed we would not see him again until his episode. Then fucking Miles recently became useful for the first time ever in the show, when he told of Ben killing Jacob. You may notice these flaws when watching the video. Regardless I am posting the video since I did put some time into making it, and also in honor of two of my favorite characters of the show. It is called……
Richard Alpert’s Files: Confidential Island Intelligence: Scouting Report # 1: Team Smoke Monster: Sayid Jarrah
This is easily the best season of lost, based on what we have been given so far. I have yet to be upset with a single episode. I hope you enjoy my new video I put together called:
I hope that if you enjoyed the first smoke monster video I put together, you will enjoy this one as well. Please comment if you enjoy it……you have no clue how much joy it brings me when I get a comment…..
I would like to thank a forum member on a site I go to,who I only know as Superman07, for his input which helped me make this video better with a few tweaks…….
This is called:
The smoke monster’s first time getting fired for disturbance on the job, upon leaving the island forever….
I put this video together today after sitting around watching and discussing Lost and the twilight zone, this afternoon with Tim and Drew. Thank you guys.
This is the smoke monster’s first job interview upon leaving the island, after trying to start a normal boring everyday life, but he still reflects on who he once was while thrashing people on the island. Hope you enjoy this short video…….
So I must say that Lost once again was an ass kicking experience last night.
Firstly though I feel the need to express a theory from Drew who I give full credit towards.
Throat chops are making a big mark on season 6……….
“WHAT, DID YOU THINK, that you were NOT going to get a throat chop when you approached him?” (Imagine someone saying this as it happened on the TV screen, this is what Drew instinctively said….)
John Locke now also posesses the same throat chop ability……
It does hurt me to see Richard acting so……… mortal. I wonder if he will now age since Jacob is dead……..sob. Maybe someone else from the crash, will take over the adviser spot and become temporarily immortal, once Jacob’s position is filled.
Could the smoke monster at least be partial Japanese in nature due to his uncanny ability to throat chop someone as well as Dogen? Worth expressing…….
ON TO LAST NIGHT’S EPISODE
We got to see the smoke monsters perspective moving throughout the island. I think the only time we have even been close to this, was in season 1 when the smoke monster approaches John Locke from above. The camera pans down on John, with the smoke monster obviously being right behind the camera and John Locke just looks up at it in astonishment.
We found out that in the alternate time line, John and his father have some sort of relationship which does not consist of his father pushing him out of an 8 story building causing his paralysis, seeing as Peggy Bundy said that they should invite his father to the wedding if they just do it in Vegas. How did John Locke get paralyzed in this time line?
We get to see a frightened Richard Alpert, who knows that the thing that has taken over John Locke, is MUCH more powerful than he is. Richard CANNOT WAIT to get to the temple to be protected by ash.
We get to see a child of some sort who is dressed like Jacob in the old days. This child seems to be bleeding at the arms the first time we see him. He also tells the smoke monster that “he cannot kill him, he cannot break the rules.” I believe the boy is talking to him about killing Sawyer. Maybe the smoke monster takes on qualities of the body he copies? Seeing the smoke monster yell the same thing John Locke yell “You can’t tell me what to do!” makes me think that he is still very much trapped, even though he is roaming freely for the time being.
I believe that the smoke monster is not allowed to kill anyone who is a candidate to replace Jacob. The smoke monster had its chance to kill Kate, Jack, John, and Sawyer since season one. But it didn’t, remember when Kate was inside the trees and she was counting down from five? The smoke monster just left her, probably because it was against the rules to kill her. Ben could have also been manipulated to kill John Locke, since the smoke monster was not allowed to kill John himself, as well as being manipulated into killing Jacob. This way the smoke monster could take over the form of John Locke to gain access to Jacob. The smoke monster wants to kill everyone on the island, so that no one can take over Jacob’s position. Meaning no one will ever again be called upon to the almost impossible to find island anymore. Then the smoke monster can finally go back, to wherever a smoke monster would call home, since he no longer will be bound to the island by Jacob or Jacob’s replacement…..
Richard was making it a big deal in season five to getting the dead bodies, from the Dharma folk, after Sawyer and Juliet killed two of them. Maybe it is very important to bury the dead in order for the smoke monster to not be able to take the form of those people and infiltrate the others. Miles walked over some freshly buried military people in season 5 and mentioned it to Faraday. Naomi mentioned to Miles off the island that, there are dead bodies buried all over the island. The smoke monster has taken the form of lots of characters since season one.
I believe that just about every time we see someone who was supposed to be dead, we have been seeing the smoke monster. Christian is dead, yet we see him on the island numerous times. Yemi is dead, yet he talks to Ecko, and even says to Ecko, “You speak to me as if I am actually your brother”.
There is only one exception to this theory and it is Walt. Walt talks to John Locke after he was shot by Ben in the pit. Walt talks backwards to Shannon. We know that Walt is still alive.
We now know that the numbers represent the chosen people as possible candidates to replace Jacob. It would be quite cool if in the end we see, a John Locke and a Jack Sheppard on the beach having a similar conversation that Jacob and the Man in Black had, all while they are both witnessing some other event that is happening in front of them (like the arrival of the black rock, or oceanic 815) which is bringing more people to the island.
I now believe that Adam and Eve were predecessors to the positions the man in black and Jacob held. It is a constant flow of people over the centuries that take on the duties that Jacob and the man in black held or hold. The man in black already stated that at one time, he was just an ordinary man like sawyer. I am just typing everything that comes to my mind……coherent or incoherent, just like Lost.
This is WhatAndrewMichaelsisdoingnow…….everything is lost, everything is fucking lost………
LOST fans across New England got kicked in the balls last night………TWICE. Anyone who is a real LOST fan knows to watch the repeat episode that airs before the new episode, since it will have pop ups of information that people would have otherwise missed. I am very grateful that I get to stay home today and do nothing, but I am very ungrateful, that all the pop ups of lost information during the episode were blocked by the winter weather advisories and school closings. Some might say that at least they had the decency to make the school closings somewhat see through, so you can read some of what the pop ups say.
I say FUCK YOU ABC……….put the school closings somewhere else, where it will not affect all of the LOST fans, in the final season of their favorite show ever…….. you then had the balls to keep the school closings on during the duration of the new episode as well.
In any event…….Every Tuesday has now become a three hour LOST event at my house. The schedule is as follows:
Previously aired episode with pop ups at 8:00
Newly aired episode at 9:00
Encore presentation of new episode at 10:00
I believe more people should follow suit.
Some of the actors and actresses on LOST look exactly the same as they did in 2004 when lost began. Other actors and actresses have changed in their appearance enough for it to be a constant reminder that 6 and a half years has passed since they shot the first season on lost. Here is my detailed analysis of the actors and actresses that look essentially the same, or definitely older:
NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCES
Jack
Mathew Fox still looks to still be in shape and youthful for his age, BUT he looks a lot different today than he did in 2004. The Jack of seasons 1,2 and 3, is not the same as the Jack of seasons 4, 5, and 6. Jack of seasons 1,2, and 3 would never consider waxing or shaving his manly chest. Jack of seasons 4, 5, and 6 for whatever reason, feels the need to have “a soft to the touch torso”. (This is far from the first or last time my sexuality might be questioned)
The above pictures are from season 2 inside the hatch after Jack got out of the shower….The pictures below are from season 4 or 5.
Season 1
Season 4 starts literally seconds after season 3 ends. There is a noticable difference in Jacks face and body frame, he looks like he shed more wieght than he should have. Some would say that season 4 also takes place 3 years later than season three, and that Jack has been drinking more and not taking care of himself. I wish that if I drank more and did not take care of myself, it would lead to a weight loss for me as well. Also he is more frail while he is still on the island before leaving and starting his epic binge which leads to him losing just about everything that he once held as important. His hair is also longer now……
Season 5
Season 6
Sawyer
Last night I rewatched LA X part two for the fourth time…..I stated that the Sawyer of seasons 1,2, and 3 would have dug Juliet’s grave with his shirt off like he usually did during events of physical exertion of LOST past as shown below.
Season 1 or 2
Season 6: Sawyer now decides to not bare his bod upon the new act of physical exertion…….
I am not knocking Josh Holloway at all, but he is getting a little older now and I think his clothing is helping to hide a little bit extra mid section wieght. He is in better shape today, than I probably have ever been in my life……Josh you are not alone, and have nothing to worry about, you are still fucking Sawyer……….regardless of a few extra pounds. Not to mention that James’ hair is most noticably longer than in season 1.
Season 1
Season 6
If it makes you feel any better Luke Wilson is also happily holding onto probably 20 extra pounds in his mid section underneath those nice jackets he wears in his AT&T commericals, and I still think he is the man as well.
Old School Era (2003)
AT&T Era (2010)
Charlie
Looks about the same age, but why does he have short hair now? Dominic Monaghan probably knew well in advance that he would be in at least the premiere episode of season six, he could have grown out his hair, they could have given him a wig…..
Season 1:
Season 6:
UNNOTICEABLE DIFFERENCES:
John Locke
Terry O’Quinn was OLD in Nineteen Eighty FUCKING Five……don’t believe me? Watch this video from the movie Silver Bullet (FAST FORWARD TO THE 4:40 MARK……thanks Vin)
That being said, this guy’s best aging attribute is that he started to look older at a younger age and has relatively stayed the same in terms of his appearance since he has become old looking some 25 years ago…..
Season 1
Season 6
Richard Alpert
Richard does not make his first appearance until the episode “Not in Portland” which aired on February 2007. This means it is easier for Richard to look the same since he started 3 years later than all the other main characters I am talking about. It is the utmost importance for Nestor Carbonell to stay in good physical shape and lay on the facial makeup if need be to make his appearance seem exactly the same.
I also think that Richard Alpert would win the superlative of “Best dressed on the island”, in the 1954, 1974, 1977, and 2007 “Island yearbooks”. This is no easy task….And it is only fitting that the man I love so much gets so many pictures on my posting.
1954: Neatly ironed and pressed
1974: Dashingly dressed
1970′s: Hippie attire
1977: Very Snappy outfit
2007: On the beach, not dressed for a swim…..but instead dressed for success
For aging purposes here is an early shot of him from:
Season 3
And in Season 6
Richard……..you are the fucking man, I truly look forward to the day that I can to put a picture of you from the 1800′s on my blog.
Hurley
I believe that Hurley does not look any older because his face is rather full and bulging, which causes no wrinkles to be able to form. He was relatively young when the show started so he is still pretty young now……and lets face it, when you are as large as Hurley, you already let yourself go years ago, so he is not going to look any older or worse since he was large and in charge to begin with. Other actors who get older sometimes put on some weight, which ends up covering up their younger looking frame. Hurley does not have this problem…….at all.
Season 1
Season 6
Jin and Sun
I am a firm believer that people of Asian decent age better than the white folk, if you do not believe me, you should stare at an older person of Asian decent the next time you see one……Jin looks exactly the same throughout the years……Sun looks exactly the same as well
Season 1
Season 6
Kate
Ok, Kate is pretty hot…..through the years I have compared her to Gollum when watching the show with my girlfriend. Every once in a while her eyes reminded me of Gollum’s in Return of the king, when you see the last version of him, before he becomes CGI. On a side note…….was he still Smeagol at this point, or do you think he was corrupted to the point of being full fledged Gollum?
I would say “Gollum……Gollum” like I was trying to clear my throat, when she would come on screen, in order to display my distaste for this character who usually makes matters worse with her poor decision making abilities.
I think I would just say she looked like Gollum because she has annoyed me through the years with her decisions and her keen unrealistic ability to pick up the skill of tracking someone in the jungle, when she has never had to use such a skill before in her life. I will admit that Evangeline Lilly looks exactly the same throughout the years.
Season 1
Season 6
Sayid
Sayid is a whole different story. Naveen Andrews seems to not have aged at all, but I think Sayid is the character that we see change the most throughout the run of LOST.
We get to see dirty Iraqi war torturer
We get to see greasy haired ass kicking island inhabitant
We get to see well manicured, well kept hair and dare I say STRAIGHTENED HAIR done with a heat source of some kind, lover and assassin.
And finally we also got to see curly haired, purple shirt, pimping, expensive scotch swigging, taking Illana home from the bar with the hopes to get laid, lady’s man.
And now we get to see hopefully once again greasy haired ass kicking island inhabitant.
This is WhatAndrewMichaelsisdoingNow…….spending WAY too much time putting this together for the amusement of others…..I am taking tomorrow off and maybe the next day as well…….
When Kate wakes up in the tree at the beginning of season 6 the sound is messed up, the obvious answer would be that it is the after effects of an explosion. An non-obvious answer would be that it sounds like when you are underwater……. I have no clue where I am going with this, but the island is underwater in the “alternate time line”
PLEASE PUSH PLAY TO HEAR WHAT KATE HEARS
….Tim also pointed out to me that when Shannon sees Walt in season 2, he is dripping wet and speaking backwards… Nice additional information to go with this theory.
Lost comes back on for its final season ever TOMORROW. I have been with lost since September of 2004. I remember at the very beginning of the show you would see commercials advertising for it, and you would see Charlie say “Guys……..WHERE ARE WE???” But at that point we were not associated with Charlie yet. I would say “Its fucking Merry…… all scruffed up, and not playing a hobbit…..” Now Dominic Monaghan is more known for being Charlie….
PUSH PLAY
I must say that Lost has had its fair shares of good characters and its fair shares of obnoxious characters.
My only major complaint with Lost, is the amount of extras are used as fellow survivors, who are just in the backround. Who the fuck do you think you are? You have some set of balls on you, to run up to someone who has made his or her way back to the camp, so you can greet them upon arrival, but the person you are greeting such as Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Jin, or Locke has never seen or talked to you ever before……..MOVE OUT OF THE FUCKING WAY so the recently returned character can see someone who actually matters to them, upon their arrival back home, from a week long adventure in the jungle…..Who the fuck do they think that they are???
I have my serious fears regarding the end of this show. First off there is a lot to be explained in one more season. It is very likely that some of the mysteries will be left unanswered. My second fear is that, what if the show has an awful ending? I have been loving this show for over 6 years and part of the main reason I have loved it for so long is the ride that it has taken us on. What if the end of the ride sucks? ( On a side note, don’t ever watch a horror film called Dark Ride, we saw it during the first horrorfest…….actually you should seriously check it out if all other movies that were ever made abruptly cease to exist…..awesome, awesome flick…..)
If the end of lost leaves a bad taste in my mouth it could effectively ruin my capabilities of re-watching the series all over again once it is done. I have seen every season at least 2 or 3 times, but this last season will determine if I venture back again or not. This last season really has the potential to be the beginning of the end of my best television viewing experiences ever. The shield for instance was an unbelievable television watching experience for me, but I did that essentially alone while viewing it. Lost has been watched and enjoyed by myself and others I really care about, so it it is much more special. I really hope it ends on a high note….
One of the best things about Lost is how the island has done a GREAT job of dealing with the annoying characters in a more often than not, deadly way. I have decided make a list of some of the characters that I have deeply despised, as well as a list of the characters that I have madly fallen in love with.
Michael was extremely obnoxious. He broke Hurley’s heart by killing Libby. Lets just get this out in the open here…….Libby had much better options other than Hurley on the island anyways. Sure, Hurley is an awesome guy and would be great to have as a friend, but I sure as hell wouldn’t want to curl up next to him and spoon him (especially months without using deodorant). Also Michael’s return to the show in season 4 was just ok, and not really worth it if you ask me. I along with everyone else is probably more concerned with seeing what his son, Walt, is capable of since he obviously has something special going on. There is a distinct possibility that we will never find out though. The only thing good that Michael ever did was kill another annoying character, Ana Lucia.
ANA LUCCIA
PUSH PLAY
“THEY’RE SMART…….AND THEY”RE ANIMALS, AND THEY COULD BE ANYWHERE AT ANYTIME……”
Maybe Michelle Rodriguez is a very good actress and that she plays a smug, annoying, bitch really well. On the other hand though, maybe she is like Michael Cera, and is just continuously playing herself in every role she gets. The only good thing that her character did was kill another annoying character, Shannon.
Shannon
PUSH PLAY
Notice how Sayid does not respond to her first question. It is never a good idea to tell someone the truth while they are already down on themselves…..silence is a much better option as opposed to getting someone’s hopes up by lying, or by breaking them down even further by telling them something truthful, which they probably do not want to hear, seeing as it will be something negative they will be hearing about themselves…..
She was always complaining and mooching off other men to get what she wanted. She has no real talents other than being pretty good looking, which I guess having this talent on an island full of men can be quite convenient. She played Charlie like a dusty copy of Driveshaft which was bought at the salvation army.
The best thing she could do was barely speak another language, enough to vaguely describe what the radio signal is saying, which is playing on a constant loop in season 1. Once they found out that the radio signal was playing on a loop, and that they discovered that they were in no real rush to translate the message, they should have kicked her ass to the curb. Shannon cannot fish, nor can she hunt game. She would not have survived on her own. Anna Luccia just sped up the process…..but I ultimately blame the smoke monster with this kill since it was fucking with them all with the whispers of gibberish, just seconds before Anna Luccia fired her gun after being confused and scared for her own life because of the noises the smoke monster made.
I think, along with “they” think, that you ARE worthless, Shannon…. Sayid is just saying otherwise to you, by saying you are not worthless, because you decided to bump and grind with him, when you could have easily had the likes of your step brother Boone instead.
Boone
There are a lot of reasons why I did not like Boone. He was in love with his sister for one. He was too weak to be a leader, so he just became one of John’s sheep. Although Boone was in shape, he would have been a better runner and hider, as opposed to a leader and a fighter. We all know that some ass kickings do take place on the island, and if you are not capable of kicking some ass, you will be frowned upon by myself and the smoke monster, and you most likely will be destroyed by said smoke monster or killed by other means in short time.
That guy from “People under the Stairs”
He is annoying as hell for one episode in season 5, and then gets hit by a flying arrow…..which is on fire. “Historic others” obviously do not fuck around.
Phil
Most people in Lost get killed by conventional means. Bullets, neck snapping, explosions, sharp blades, drowning, or the smoke monster thrashing you…… have all played their parts in taking peoples lives on the show. Phil became very hated once he became an extreme antagonist towards Sawyer and Juliet. Phil was killed more unconventionally than normal, by being impaled with a large shard of metal right before the Incident. I feel that this scene was for the fans, since he was so hated for hitting Juliet in front of Sawyer, in order to get Sawyer to talk.
PUSH PLAY
NOW ON TO CHARACTERS I AM MADLY IN LOVE WITH (Yup, they are all dudes)
Richard Alpert
Richard is the fucking man. The thing that I want most from season six is a Richard Alpert centeric episode. I believe that we will be getting it too. One of the later episodes in season 5 starts off with Richard fixing a small ship that is in a bottle (which is most likley representing the Black Rock). Since the episode started off with Richard, I thought that I was getting my Richard episode then. I was upset to find that I was wrong. I feel that if everyone had the passive ability to deal with violence and irrational human behavior the way Richard does, we would live in a much better society.
John Locke
John is a tough one. I must admit that I was slow to come to enjoy this character. It was not until season 5 that I really truly enjoyed him, since he seemed to be above everyone else, with a true calling to do something special and extraordinary seeing as he was “brought back to life”.
Unfortunately as we all know, season 5 has some crazy shit going on behind the scenes with his character. Lots of the awesome things that he did, we find out that it was not really him doing it. “The island” has been talking to John since season one, but I am in the firm believer group, that it was never the island talking to John, but instead it was always the smoke monster communicating with him through visions of dead people, and using him as a puppet. This means that John Lock was taken advantage of before the island for his whole life, AND then also while he was on the island that he finally felt he found his place. This makes his character quite sad and pathetic, but I do have some hope that somehow, the real John Locke through the events of the incident will be back and will be a hugely pivotal role in the shows final season. If not, we will just have to deal with this new John, who we really do not have any clue yet to who he is other than speculations of him being the dude in black, who might be the smoke monster.
Desmond………Brotha
He is easily one of the best characters on this show. Giving us this character in the season 2 premiere, and then taking him away until the finale, sure was toying with our emotions. I think that he was in one of the best episodes of the entire show. This episode was called “The Constant”, and in it he travels through different times of his life to ultimatley be able to make contact with Penny….. I was saddened that his role in season 5 was very minimal after being spoiled with him throughout seasons 3 and 4. I know that the island is not done with him yet as per Eleanor, but I have a feeling that his return will be bitter and short lived. I beleive that Desmond’s role in the show has already peaked, and that his return to the show will probably be just a few episodes at most. I hope I am wrong…….
Sayid
I really did not like Sayid at first, and I will admit that this guy sure did grow on me. The first time I really became to appreciate him was when he went back to the hatch to confront Ben Linus about the supposed buried wife of Ben’s alter ego “Henry Gale”. The fact that he dug up the grave to verify if it was a female or not, showed you the length this sick man will go to find answers.
I bet you that we never find out why the real Henry Gale was called upon to the island on his balloon. Maybe his sole purpose was to die and to be buried, so Ben could pretend to be him, and then Sayid would be put to the test to see if he would unbury him. If that is the case Henry Gale sure got the shaft from Jacob…….Imagine being brought to a magical island, just so you can die, so you then can be buried, to then see if someone else would dig you up, in order to prove or disprove what someone else is saying…….Poor Henry Gale, you my friend, got the shaft worse than anyone else who was called upon to the island by Jacob.
Back to Sayid….. he has shown more and more of his bad ass capabilities as the show goes on. Breaking a persons neck using only your legs must be an exhilarating experience for both parties involved. Unfortunately only one of the two involved will live to rethink and relive this exhilarating experience.
Another instance is when he throws a foe onto an open dishwasher which has a bunch of knives pointing up in the direction of the landing foe, all while Sayid has been shot by no less than 2 darts of sedatives.
I really hope that Sayid makes it through with his wounds after the incident of season 5. He also looked pretty pimp in his purple shirt in season 5. And he had the balls to shoot and try to kill a child Benjamin Linus. He is pretty badass.
Sawyer
There are a lot of things that I enjoy about Sawyer. I have been told that I have Sawyer like hair (read my comments for my previous lost post a few weeks ago….). I would like to tell all that my hair was long, before Sawyer ever graced us with long hair, which didn’t really start until mid season 1 or season 2. He has awesome nicknames for everyone. He also has extensive knowledge in all sorts of cool forms of entertainment whether it be music, movies, television shows, or pop culture. I must say that I enjoyed Sawyer seasons 1-4 better than in season 5. I do not like domesticated, cleanly shaven, making a semi honest living version of Sawyer. I feel that we will be seeing more of the old Sawyer in season 6.
I never really cared too much for Jack, Kate, Charlie, Sun, Jin, and Claire, but out of respect for my girlfriend and friends who feel otherwise I decided not to bash them. I am looking forward to our first ever scheduled Lost event at my house this Tuesday. We have had people over in the past for an occasional episode here or there, but this time we mean fucking business.
PUSH PLAY
Every Tuesday airing of Lost will now be an epic event at my house. We will have to sit through the commercials together…….everyone already knows NOT TO TALK during the episode and save thoughts for the commercials that which we so despise……. I considered buying some nice bean bags so we all have proper, comfortable, seating with full on, non obstructed viewing of the bliss which we call Lost……. Our fellow friendly Lost fans will flock to my house instinctively like the salmon of Capistrano. The beer will flow like wine, on a Tuesday night, all because of the awesomeness of Lost. GET FUCKING READY, 24 HOURS UNTIL THE PREMIERE OF THE LAST SEASON OF LOST!
This is WhatAndrewMichaelsisdoingnow……….Everything is Lost for the next 17 or so weeks, my blog will occasionally bring up newly aired lost episodes, but I promise to try to stick to non-lost related random nonsense most of the time. But you must understand that I have been waiting a long time for this.
I also understand if you think that I am crazy due to my writing or my obsession with Lost, but just remember that there are a lot of people in the world that actually watch and enjoy:
The Hills
The Kardasians
The girls next door
Living Lohan …………..”I cannot believe I am wasting a minute of my life, watching these horrific people”….. Anderson Cooper
Denise Richards: It’s Complicated
John and Kate Plus 8
The real housewives of whatever town
Kendra
The Tyra Banks show
Extra
Entertainment Tonight
Inside Edition
Kourtney and Klhoe take Miami
Hogan knows best
Brooke knows best
The Jacksons an american dynasty
Ice Truckers
Axmen
Swamp loggers
The Jersey shore
Little miss perfect
Help,I am a celebrity get me the hell out of here,
Dancing with the stars
Americas got talent
Any show about midgets living in a big world
Dr. 90210
Guilianna & Bill
FUCK EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE SHOWS…..
I must say that I do enjoy watching some bad television though. I like to watch Pawn Stars…..some of the guys on the show are morons and tools, but they have some cool shit brought into their store….. I remember the first time I actually gave the show a chance.
I was eating the leftover reheated blooming onion from Outback Steakhouse, I had a nice cold beer, I was wearing the Mex, I was comfortable on the couch, all while I enjoyed the hell out of Pawn Stars…….. I think I recorded this audio commentary on my phone to write about at a later time, but my phone is dead seeing as I only have a car charger for my phone at the moment…….Maybe by the time I post this, my phone will have enough of a charge to put the recording in this blog…..I plan on only charging my phone in my car until I find my wall charger…..it is very possible that it will be a long time until my phone ever sees the day of a fully charged battery. If you try to call me and my phone goes straight to voicemail, it is probably because I am too stubborn to buy a new wall charger, since I think that mine is not lost, but just misplaced somewhere safe…….
I might be taking tomorrow off from posting anything, unless there is something related to Lost that I have to talk about……
My post from today took a lot of things to occur in order for my theory of the day to be possible. I ended up writing over five pages of background information which led to what I am about to talk about. I want to thank Tim Forsberg for helping this theory be possible. Anyone who is interested in reading all this information is more than welcome to continue reading after my theory.
My theory is that, some parts of LOST were directly influenced by episodes of the Twilight Zone. Today I will be talking about one of the episodes. I have pictures and a video clip to show you my claims. In the coming weeks I hope to show other examples. Even if you are not a Lost fan, there is a lot below that does not deal with it that I hope you find entertaining, but be wary of possible spoilers of the show by reading this posting.
